In-House Control Panel
First released in 2005 (and updated many times since!), the INX control panel is 100% developed in-house. While most game server providers use off-the shelf generic software they rent monthly, INX has full control over the features and presentation of our control panel, after all, we made it!
We develop it, we maintain it, you control it!
Did you know that with some providers, if you accidently break the server at 3am, you can often wait days for them to reinstall it for you? Imagine having to ask them to change the start line for you to add a new mod! You shouldn't have to. The INX panel essentially gives you 24/7 powerful control over your server. And, the confidence if you break it (because we all do!), you can fix it without waiting on support. Read on to find how exactly how we make this possible...
My Services
The my services area is our favourite part of MyINX. All your game servers, voice servers and web hosting packages will appear here, neatly presented so you can clearly see which packages are addons and which ones aren't. We've included a clever little section beneath which shows all other services that you've been given access to - basically, other account holders can give out restricted access to their services (so friends can help manage things while they're away, for example!), neat!
Server Setup
Your free voice server and web hosting are, by default, uninstalled. This gives you the option to instantly install them whenever you're ready. The clever setup guide helps you configure everything just the way you want it, right from the start. We've shown the Teamspeak 2 and free subdomain web hosting setup forms here; as you can see from the pictures though, other options are available (and when you click them, they fade smoothly in and out!)
Voice Control Panel
Just a small part of the MyINX system, the voice control panel enables simple, easy yet complete control over your voice server. Instantly uninstall and reinstall the server if you make a mistake (or you change your mind). On top of that, you can reset the administrator's password whenever you like, and access the more comprehensive web-panel for the voice server itself.
Game Control Panel
Our baby, the game control panel is what all our customers rave about. From the way it clearly presents all of the information and controls to you in a simple, efficient way, to the fact that it appeals to everyone from the most basic to the most advanced user, the MyINX game control panel is fantastic. The picture below demonstrates the welcome screen, which shows your live server status, game running, slots, FTP information and server controls. The server controls are instant-updating which means when you click on them, we've designed them to show a little spinning loading bar, which turns into a tick when the action has been performed!
Game Switcher/Reinstall and Fix-Me
These are two of the most commonly used tools. The game switcher allows you to switch your server (instantly!) to any game that we sell (at no extra cost), and it includes an option which allows you to reinstall your server, again instantly. The fix-me tool is genius; if you screw up your server badly enough that it won't start, this clever little thing will find the problem and fix it to get your server running again (and yeah, you guessed it, it does this instantly!).
Mod Central
We believe we were the first GSP to ever offer this feature (and we believe only a few have caught up!). Pioneering as always, INX brings you Mod Central - a collection of tons of mods and addons for your game server. With the click of a button you can install any of these to your game server. This is all done automatically so you don't need to mess around with configuration files. It'll also check to make sure you aren't running any mods that clash with each other, cool eh?
File Editor
Every time you edit a file through the file editor, it'll save the previous version for you and datestamp it. Why? If you've been editing a config file and your changes cause something to break, you can immediately load up and restore an older version of the file. On top of this, it saves you from having to mess around with FTP - all the commonly used files are available to edit here. Want to store more than one config? For example, want to store several map rotations for different nights? This is easily done!
Startline Editor
For the advanced users amonst our customers, the startline editor allows you to change the more specific command-line options that are run when the server fires up. Depending on the game running, different options are presented to you (VAC secure, set fs_game, etc). You may not ever need to use this, but setting your own default start map is cool though.
User Manager
Fancy delegating certain bits of your server out to say, other people in your clan? You can do this very easily. Just get your friends to sign up for free MyINX accounts and you can give them restricted access to your game servers' control panel. It couldn't be simpler!
HLTV/SourceTV
For customers running games which are based on the half-life and HL2 engines, an automatic TV installer is available for you. There isn't much more to say on this apart from the fact that the HLTV bot can be automatically restarted through this feature too. Handy? We thought so!
