The problem with the linux files,
Infinity Ward is just not going to make them, as they never did before, not with cod/uo/2/4 they always said they do NOT support linux at all!

What is the real problem? well is very simple..
The linux binaries are farmed out to a third party developer of IW, witch reported to have some major delays with the development because of some internal problems.

At the end, they havn't promised to make them at all, so if this takes 3 days or 2 months they dont really care, cod4 is already sold more then a few millions so thats 50 euro ever single dvd.

1000000x50= 50000000 - 19% tax - 3 euro dvd - salary = alot of $$$$$
