Re: Beans on toast
I can't say that i have actually burnt anything like that tbh!

I have left things in the oven too long because i forgot to put the timer on and also forgot when i actually put them in the oven...

Re: Beans on toast
I think i am quite alright with cooking myself. I managed to cook Christmas dinner for 4 without any troubles. I also frequently cook a Sunday dinner for between 4 and 8 people.

Re: Beans on toast
Strange how we're both called Adam and seem to mess up anything which enters a kitchen. I did a pizza a few hours ago, well it did cook very nicely for a few hours ago anyway. I've also many many times cooked eggs without switching the grill on for the bacon, over-do the cheese on toast when i try to melt it on top etc. Eggs also hate me, it's official. No matter how cautious I go up to an egg it'll break exactly how and where I don't want it to. If I go to break it, not even a dent or crack, hit it a little harder and it goes everywhere but the pan. I once got one on the ceiling for a brief moment because the egg didn't crack so i decided to use some force, tried to smack it off the bowl but turned out the previous hit had cracked the top of the egg shell. I lifted my hand up and the egg inside continued going upwards when my hand stopped, taking the top of the shell away and the egg hit the ceiling and then the floor.
I'm a total disaster when it comes to cooking, hence I have a lot of breakfasts and sandwiches. It's much safer that way, for everyone.

Re: Beans on toast
Yeah, but there's far more male cooks than there is female, at least career wise. Ironic isn't it?
