    Political Reform?

OK quite a broad question but do you think we need to have some serious political reform now?

As how can a party like the lib dems get 22.9% of the vote but yet only 52 seats (correct at time of writing) and then have party's like the conservatives get 36.1% and get 294 seats (correct at time of writing)

if you took the 650 seats on a percentage you would end up with the lib dems having 148.85 seats, and the conservatives with only 234.65! and labor having 190.45 all again correct at time of writing and this is a very rough working on the maths based on the current 650 seats available.

So we can have peoples votes represented fairly and mean that what people really vote at a local level can then go forward and be represented fully in parliament!

That's the beauty of first past the post ! IMO it's the best system we have or could have with the parties in disarray. Dunna worry there will be another general election in about 18 months 2 years time and we can do it all again

I cant believe in a modern western country we live in that all the votes are still done on paper and counted manually, surely there could be some sort of computer voting system so we dont have to wait until the early hours of the morning to get a winner?
