Some very sad unfortunate news.
I am afraid im bringing you some very sad news. But we think that the inx-community should know. Sadly Jake0 a dear friend of many people and the inx radio manager sadly passed away this evening. He had suffered a long battle with liver problems. Our thoughts and support are with his family, friends and comedian who was his loving girlfriend.
His commitment to inx-gaming and inx-radio was outstanding. He will always be remembered for his "lame" jokes and cheesy classics on the radio. great memories and i think you will all agree.
May he rest in peace.

I, needless to say, do not know how to respond to this news.
I was aware that he was unwell, but did not expect that this would ever happen.
He was very optimistic despite his health problems and obviously thoughts go to everyone who was close to him.

I am shocked about this news and have informed olly, i had to hold bck bursting into tears whilst informing him, i am goign to move this thread to chit chat as i am going to put an anoucement up
But Jake will be remmberd for his work with inx for developing Beware BNC, his managemt work for inx radio and his dj;ing skills

Extremely sorry to hear this, I knew Jake was ill but not to this extent.
He done an excellent job for iNX and iNX Radio... he helped me alot initially get into my support role and I am very very sorry to hear that Jake is no longer with us.
Commiserations to Jakes Family and loved ones.

I knew jake was not well, but i though he would get better and be back to us. I am truly sorry to hear this. His work with iNX will be remembered and his friendly attitude. My thoughts will lay with his family and Comedian

Despite my being disliked by a majority of the inx community, Jake was always a good friend, and shall be dearly missed.

A big shock, I think only spoke now and then - but he was a good lad. I remember laughing at this when I saw it... he looks like he was a laugh!

hmm, known jake for years.. even before he was in inx, an like.. god :-/ He was so cool, I loved him
We used to have little jokes about homosexual acts etc within his own irc channel (#jake0) :/ It's like a boyfriend dying!
I also have a video of him singing Agadoo, which was cool, made me laugh for hours

Absolutely gutted. The man was a complete legend - I knew he wasnt well but I had hope - as did he.

just to let you all know inx-radio will be hosting a tribute night to jake tonight on inx-radio from 8pm with myself and other djs, a few hours of pure cheese to commemorate the life of the king of cheese himself.

I'd lost contact with Jake since he went into hospital, (I didn't at first realise he'd gone into hospital, but did wonder where he'd gone) I got an update from Michelle recently, saying he was on life support, I was shocked then to say the least. But, words can't describe really, as the rest of you say.
There's nothing more that can be said about Jake, all the above are more than less true for me. Although it might sound cheesy; (although perhaps appropriate) it does make, me anyway, think about what we have and what could be taken away.

I've posted somthing in the 'shoutbox' on Jake's website (www.jake0.org.uk/) for now, perhaps when one of the inx admins has some free time, they could put somthing else up.
