Current version How to retrieve your STEAM ID
For Source (srcds) and Half-Life (hlds) based engine games, mods such as Manimod, AMXX, Sourcemod and Beetlesmod will use your STEAM ID to set you as an admin.
To retrieve your STEAM ID, please follow these steps:
Join a srcds or hlds server. In this example, I will join a Counterstrike Source server
When the game has launched, you should have a menu. From this menu click options
A new window will open. In the new window, select keyboard from the tab on the top
On this new screen you should see a button labelled Advanced . Click this button
There will be an option Enable developer console . Important! Make sure this is ticked!
Click OK to close that window, then Apply.
To bring up the in-game console, you need to hit the button on your keyboard that is above the TAB key and below the escape key
A new window will open. In this window type status
Your STEAM ID should now appear. It’ll look something like STEAM_0:00000000
You should be able to use your STEAM ID now to gain admin on your clanserver .
